Thoughts about God

Here are some thought that perhaps many who read this do not know or perhaps never think about. “The universe and everything in it, including humans are created FOR God’s pleasure and purpose. It is God’s pleasure and purpose that we obey his commandments, love Him, honor Him, and worship Him in spirit and in truth. We can only accomplish this great task by confessing our sins to our Lord Jesus, confessing with our mouths that he is the Son of God, our redeemer, asking his forgiveness, being baptized, asking Him to take control of our lives, to come and live in our hearts, and surrendering our will to his.

How many of you have ever considered God’s feelings when you sin. Perhaps most of you or all of you have never even thought that He has feelings. Since we are created in His image, and in his likeness, we could not have any feelings of our own if He doesn’t, because He could only give us what He has. Just imagine for a moment how you would have felt if that had been your only son on the cross, dying for someone else’s wrong, instead of God’s Holy and perfect Son, then multiply that feeling by a feeling billions of times stronger and more painful than yours.

To find out more about God’s infinite grace, and his wonderful plan and purpose for your life, pray, read and study His Holy Word.

It is often a simple thing, the roll of the dice, the turn of a card, or a chance meeting that can change one’s life forever. For Josh Campbell, and Morgan Connelly it was a seemingly harmless chain of events, a fight after school and performing a ritual that neither one of them believed in.

Full of fear and excitement Keeper of the Sword (The Sword of Kings) Josh notched an arrow to the bow string, pulled it back to his ear, took careful aim and released the shaft of death, and before it reached its target, a second bolt sliced through the dark.
